Winter Family Heritage
Winter is my mother’s maiden name, so this is the PERFECT collection for my mother’s paternal line. This is about my 2X great grandparents. Their children are depicted in birth order, except for the 5th born child, daughter Mary who lived only 9 months. My great grandfather was their youngest, Thomas. They came to the US in 1882 with 9 youngsters in tow and a married daughter with her own child. Son George was in Australia by that time then New Zealand later. Daughter Ann with her husband George Todd and the first 5 of their 13 children came over in 1884.

Left to right, top to bottom:
Ann 1857-1941, George 1859-1935, Sarah 1860-1946, James 1862-1949, John Benjamin 1867-1908, Mary Jane 1869-1926, Charles 1870-1904, William Henry II 1871-1908, Herbert 1874-1940, Nellie 1875-1953, Thomas K. 1875-1944
The girls' photo is about 1886 probably in Saunemin, Livingston County, Illinois
The boys' photo is 1897 in Manson, Calhoun County, Iowa when George visited from New Zealand

Paper 09 over paper 22 in Pin Light Mode for background. Add photo cluster from collection and clip photos. Add edging overlay and elements as desired.

Wonderful heritage layout! Love the colors and how you played on your mother's name for the choice of kit! 11 children who survived to adulthood - wow, that was lucky in those days.
