Window Shopping

I love window shopping, especially in NYC (can't afford to buy anything). But this was especially a fun day because I was with my girl tribe and we all were gawking!

Process
A solid paper from APP Inkling was used as the foundation of the page. The photo was clipped to a fotoblendz mask. The photo was duplicated with the blending mode changed to screen (reduced opacity). Several transfers and overlays were layered onto the page. Brushes from the kit (recolored white) were added, along with a paper texture. MM Winter 3_2 was added. A variety of layers (splatters, stars, flower) from the MM Winter 3 were added for more depth and dimension. Word art and embellishments completed the page.

Thank you for looking!

A very unique photo and beautifully used in this layout...very creative! I love it, and your day sounds delightfully fun!

Total stunner. I, too, love shopping in NYC. I can't go visit my daughter, who lives there, very often...too costly. haha I'm drawn to that lovely bow with the perfect threadz/button used along with the wordart. So beautiful...

Love this, stunning layout. Twenty some years ago, my Mom & I went shopping in NYC on 5th Avenue. Well, really window shopping. We stopped in one story and she saw a $5000 dress in various sizes handing on the rack. She could not believe that if you paid such an amount for a dress that someone else could have the very same dress. Totally shocked this nice midwestern lady. Thanks for the memory.

My new favorite 'Miki' page! My undergrad minor was in fashion and textiles so this kind of display makes me giddy! You've created the page so I feel like I'm right there and can appreciate the construction and fabric! LOVE it!
