Process Notes: I began with an Artsy Paper from APP Sparkle. I placed the photo using the inverted masking technique. I then duplicated the background paper, and placed it on top of the photo layer, and placed it on blend mode Linear Burn to darken the textures and photo a bit. I added transfers and brushes , and then used 3 different edge overlays from Sparkle Edge Overlays. I added the ribbon, changing its color to the soft green, and added the gold button, and urban threadz. I placed the book plate, and added a backing and the text. I then took the texture brush (linen look and diagonal lines brush), and added it to the top of the photo placing it on blend mode divide to give the look of a worn away photo. I then added the large title, reducing the opacity of the title, and giving it a very faint stroke, and also an outer glow, to emphasize it a bit, but not have it over power the photo. The opacity of the title was reduced to about about 25%. I rasterized the word Wild, because it was not quite centered the way I wanted, and then I used the Free Transform/Warp command to move the large beginning loop of the W, to drag it inward a bit so that it was about centered. It also allowed me to modify the large loop of the W to better encircle the gazelles. I added the word Things, overlapping the Wild.

Thanks for looking
Oooo! Love how the loop in the W encircles the animals! And the stitched ribbon...very nice, Joanie!

love, love this huge title, and how you put the focus of the photo in it.

Love the textures that you have achieved with the inverted masking technique! I love your title, too and the ribbon and stitching.

Wow this is so dramatic and wonderful! Love it so much!! How cute are the Impala - perfect little deer!!

oh so many things to love! simple but striking composition with the large photo in the middle, nice idea to add a paper over it for texture, the title work is just amazing! also love that ribbon on the side adding some framing. LOVE :)

your textures are amazing -- almost like exertion getting to the destination ... and then, breathtaking. Worth all the hills and valleys traveled. and then, the font! encircling these beautiful creatures and bringing them home to us. thank you for sharing.

love how the loop in the W hi-lights the wild things! love how it looks like I am looking through a window! fantastic!

So many beautiful things to see! But the textures are awesome in this page!
