Short/free translation of the journaling:
I started paper scrapping in the summer of 2006. When my mom was looking for scrap stuff on the internet we discovered digi scrapping.
We started with the free scrapbook flair program, but it was not what we wanted so we tried Photoshop Elements 5.0 and we loved it.
Now we needed digi scrap stuff and started to discover the digi world. We found Oscraps and tried out lots of freebies and challenges.
We registered at Oscraps together as Madi (Maya and Diane).
We were scrapper of the week in march 2007 here at the O and the announcement was made with the Bikini and Boardshorts kit by the oscraps designers.
We loved this kit very much and it was the first thing we bought.
In august there were designer spotlight challenges and my mom won Sue's challenge (her entire shop for 1 year!). After Merkeley's spotlight my mom
was asked to join her CT. This was the time for us to split up. I got my own account here at Oscraps. After fighting over who would be Madi and who would
have to choose another name, my mom thought of the name Madigirl for me. I started my own gallery here and also joined Merkeley's CT.
What do I think about Oscraps? Easy, Oscraps is my home. Now I am trying to get 3000 posts to make it official. Everybody at Oscraps is very nice and friendly.
When you have a question, there is always somebody to help you. And then there is Vicki. She is amazing and I think it's an honour that she wanted me as her guest on her CT.
P.S. The only thing my mom and I still fight about is who can use the computer (we have to share!).
What a wonderful story about your time at Oscraps! Your layout shows how creative your are! Love the watermark on your journaling!

Oh that is fabulous journaling!!! How wonderful that you and your mom do this hobby together!! Beautiful! :)

Now I'm finally unconfused as to who is who!!!! lol
How neat that you both enjoy digi-scrapping and I admire your mother/daughter friendship!
Now...we need to get you another computer so there
is no reason ever to fight!
