WAHHHHHHH - just 20mins of June 2010 left in my neck of the woods and I finally got my Ostash entry done! Talk about cutting it fine. Phew. I managed to get everything except the doodle in, although I don't know if my alpha counts correctly.

Paddy was a big baby. Huge, in fact. He came out looking like a 3 month old, robust, solid and a full 9 lbs 9 oz (or 4.5 kg in new money). His big head sat on square shoulders; he was serene and calm, and smiley. And he remained thus for the next 9 months, taking life at his own pace, not making too much attempt to move around (unlike his sister) and sitting in a stately fashion. Just like a pumpkin. And, just like a pumpkin, he looked great in orange - actually, I think his lovely olive skin has more to do with this than any resemblance to vegetables. So he became Paddy Pumpkin. And this suited him. But, all of a sudden (well, OK, 7 yrs later), I look at him and it so does not suit him any longer. Gone is my rotund baby with the chubby arms & legs, and his place I now have a stick thin, techno savvy junior school child, complete with Nintendo DSi, rollerblades and Marvel comics. What happened to my baby? Where did my Pumpkin go?
