Journaling:
After several weeks of uncharacteristacally cold winter, this week has, for the most part, been sunny and warm! I have been sitting in the sun on the deck, and David has brought out the umbrellas. A couple days we had our 5:00 glass of wine in the front yard, waving to neighbors.
On Tuesday David had an appointment at the opthamologist, and afterwards we took a walk along the newly opened Free Bridge Lane promenade. David has been doing a lot of yard work, getting ready to start the growing season.
Friday night there was a candlelight service for Peter Martin, who had been shot at Harris Teeter last week; we went with Steve and Teri. It was so sad. I finished Phoebe's sweater and started a new project, a mohair shawl.
