Journaling:
Saturday and Sunday, so many people went out to clean up what they could. By the end of the weekend, the Connector Trail was passable, as bits of bridges had been placed over the thankfully- receding creek. The boardwalks in Creekside had been stabilized and were safe to walk on. Debris had been cleared on bridges and trails. The county would come out Tuesday to cut away the trees requiring chain saws. A couple benches were replaced.
There is a lot of work ahead, but help and resources are coming in. We'll be having work days like crazy as we try to get ready for our 5K run in October.
