Journaling:
April 28 - Weve had such fierce winds that my painting has been banging on the fence and chipping off the paint. A new arrangement with plastic tubing around the chain should help.
April 29 - the goats have arrived!! I love it when the goats arrive to munch on the hillsides, they are so fun to watch and especially fun to listen to all their different voices!!
April 30 - A trip to the library to pick up copies of Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evel, a must-read before a trip to Savannah. I never tire of looking at the Out to Lunch statue, a nostalgic icon of our early days in Sunnyvale.

May 1 - We traveled, very early, to New Jersey to visit Mom, getting there while still light and we were able to enjoy the cherry blossoms in the park in front of her house.
May 2 - Needing to see even more cherry blossoms, we headed down to Branch Brook Park, taking the back way so as to avoid the riff raff along the way down Franklin Street. The trees were purportedly at their peak and were just glorious!
May 3 - More beautiful tree peeping, a beautiful pink dogwood in the park. Dogwoods were blooming everywhere, and we had such great weather to enjoy them.
May 4 - On to Charleston and then to Edisto Island, where our first stop was the Piggly Wiggly, the local grocery store, to stock up on groceries for the week.
