Journalling reads: This week was just one of those weeks that leaves you with a puzzled expression on your face and the question why? on your lips. Like how Lukas and Logan love to sit and watch dvds together but only on the portable dvd player. On Tuesday we finally made it to clinic to get Logan weighed. The health visitor asked us about weaning him and moaned he was having too much milk, then turned around and said that he was slightly underweight. Ironically he was on exactly the same curve as before and weighed 16lb 2.5oz. Then Wednesday Lukas had his follow up appointment for his perforated eardrum. I also decided to mention his sore foot while we were there. Only the doctor decided that instead of focusing on either of those things, he would ramble on and on about Lukass weight and complain about how fat he was. When I replied that he hardly ate anything his response - Well he obviously does or he wouldnt be so fat. I tried a different tactic and said that I had always had issues with my weight and I hardly ate anything either, then he started on about how maybe if I paid more attention to my weight than Lukas would learn from my example. I left the surgery in tears and extremely angry and frustrated. The rest of the week didnt really improve much, me and Mark spent a lot of time arguing and bickering. By the time we got to the weekend we were struggling to even speak to each other without it turning into a huge argument. Sunday was Mothers Day and I was feeling a little bitter about the fact that not only had Mark not bought me a card from the kids but we would also be spending the day at Thorpe Park for annual pass holders day. Whenever we go there Mark ends up going off to ride thrill rides and I get left looking after the kids. Luckily Lisa, Gary, Ella, Conor and Conors friend Thomas came as our guests and we all ended up having a really nice day then we came home and had a nice chinese takeaway.
