We Know What you did Last Summer!

As seen in the Nov 2011 issue of the Artisan Notebook, using oodles of awesome O-stash!

Journaling reads:

Just how many barbeques does one man need? This is a question Selena has been asking herself all year, after all, she has had to stand by and watch her husband purchase not 1, or even 2 but 4 BBQs during 2011. First, Dominic bought a small BBQ for Percy Rd; it was compact and diminutive, and appropriately sized for the tiny garden. Having caught the barbequing bug, he then bought a BBQ for Cornwall too. This was a cute, cast iron affair, romantic to behold, but ultimately it proved too small to cook enough food for a family of 5.

BBQ number 3 was purchased for Percy Rd to replace the small grill, which, like its Cornish counterpart really was too small for the familys needs. This new BBQ was a Weber Kettle; Selena was assured by Dominic that this was the bees knees of the barbeque world, that this BBQ would revolutionise the way the family would eat and that this BBQ could indeed do everything including making tea! Selena could only take his word for it but after several weeks of eating barbequed food, even the familys confirmed carnivore, Woody, was begging to have anything so long as it wasnt cooked on the BBQ.

The Weber was proving such as success in London that Dominic wanted to get one in Cornwall, so a trip to the garden centre was planned. And when he got there it was pure Nirvana every Weber product ever made seemed to be housed there, Dominic was able to buy a whole host of additional accessories. Fancy that! So the 4th BBQ was acquired, and the family had to eat barbequed meals for the entire summer. And the children have thanked their lucky stars that it has bucketed down with rain ever since so there has not been a return to all things barbeque!

Just fun, Selena! You are a wonderful storyteller! And have a wonderful sense of humour!

hahahhaaaa!!! Selena, love this!!!!!!!!! yes, I agree with J, you are such a fantastic storyteller!!!!!!!!!!! Love this page, very original and creative as always!!

Bwuahahahaha!!! All I can say is that your excess of BBQ cooking evens up against my utter lack of BBQ'ing this "summer". We had a grand total of 2 (yes just TWO) BBQ's in 2011 ... and one of those was way back in April!!!

this is so great that I almost don't know how you did it :) Love the colors, the elements, the clipping...fab!

I laughed all the way through your story... so funny...and a very cool page.... I finally posted the one I did that was not outside...
