I knew when I saw this photo a very talented friend took that it would somehow find its way onto an ART page when the perfect kits and words inspired..a simple and yet so powerful visual to go with message.

Page Process-
Two different ArtsyTransfers were layered onto the background paper

One ArtsyTransfer was duplicated and the layers of the duplicated ArtsyTransfer were merged in order to make the one layer now a clipping mask.

The photo was layered on top of this new clipping mask and clipped to the mask and adjusted both by resizing and repositioning. I also played with the photo and duplicated and blended it a bit more to fade into the ART design.

WordART was created from Knowledge WordART + font+ plus a word label from AP knowledge set to the luminosity blending mode. A WordTransfer was also recolored and tucked softly into the background for visual interest.

Brushes were layered into the ART design and recolored and blending modes applied. The Book Textures are the perfect edging that add a bit of texture by recoloring and tweaking the opacity.

A frame was added into the layers palette and the size adjusted to partially surround the sweet little man. The edge of the frame lined up with the track and a small portion of the frame was erased to allow the little man to walk by faith out of the frame.

My fave UrbanStitchez adds a bit of texture to the design.
