Last May we went to the Belgian Ardennes for a nice long weekend. The house we rented had a very, very big garden with fences all around so the dog could run around freely without us having to worry about him getting into trouble.
When we arrived after a 2,5 hour drive we first walked the dog, drove the car up onto our driveway, closed the fence and started unpacking. We thought wed get the dog out of our way by letting him inspect his new territory on his own.
The front door wouldnt stay open though and with us having to go in and out, we put a wedge under it. Problem solved right?
Yep, that would do the trick if you didnt have a dog named Yuki aka Einstein.
He loves to play with a stick, but with no sticks around a wedge is apparently the closest thing to it. To make a long story shortwe ended up taking turns on holding the door and bringing stuff into the house while Yuki was having a ball with his new found toy.
