Something a bit different for me in that I am using darker colours for a Christmas Piece.

I went out of my comfort zone and started with my 12 x 12 page and then selected a dark paper from APP Star.

Once I had the background paper on its own layer, I started investigating the elements and wording from LightWordART1, WaterColorStars1 and BeadedThreadz2.

I wanted to create a cluster effect around the white part of the paper, so selected the paper star from the Palette and then used the brushes from WaterColorStars1.

I replicated them on separate layers and then moved them both horizontally and vertically till I got the line I was looking for.

I then selected the wording and placed it on its own layer in the spot I wanted, then on a new layer picked one of the Beaded Threadz and linked it close to the main wording and finally added an ArtStroke from the palette to break up the white space.
