This LO is about my great grandfather Thomas K. Winter. The top photo appears to have been made on his wedding day in 1898 although I am mystified as to why there is no corresponding photo of my great grandmother, Anna Maria Krohn Winter, so I may be wrong about that, but he was the last to marry so... The bottom photo is around 1929. Grandpa is on the step at the back on the right. This was surely not his entire force. Fullerton, even then was not a small town, so I think this might be just one shift. The newspaper articles are about his time as Fullerton's Chief of Police. I learned what a Flivver was from one of them. It's a Model T Ford automobile!

Background is solid paper 11 in Overlay mode over kit paper 07. To grunge up the frame, I clipped solid paper 11 in Linear Dodge (Add) mode over the frame then enlarged tag 1, changed it to Multiply mode, and clipped it over paper 11 (Thank you, Ona!).
