This photo was taken 2 years ago, when my daughter met her Great Grandmother for the first time. Since that time, my Grandmother has had to move into a nursing home. It has been difficult to see her there. She is so different now from the Grandma I knew. I am grateful that she got me meet my daughter while she was still vibrant and alert. I try to focus on these memories because this is how I want to remember her.
