Here's a journal page I did a while ago that I updated a bit for the Anna Challenge.
Journaling:
From Earthbound to Airborne
The caterpillar spins the chrysalis in pure faith, not knowing what lies ahead any more than we do.
Maybe life in the chrysalis is just as dark and scary and painful as life can sometimes be for us.
One of the most frequently used images in scrapbooking, art journaling and collage is the butterfly. This isn't just about their beauty of course, but more about what they represent. Though many travel far in their journey of life; its their metamorphosis, one of the most obvious and dramatic transformations in all of nature, that so captivates us. They go from ugly (IMHO), earthbound and sometimes destructive, to exquisitely beautiful, airborne and free. A change to which we also aspire.
