Superb representation of then & now, Helen. Funny how when our lives become fuller with little people, we have to live vicariously through books for a reminder of life before kids. Speaking of which, you have to read "The Forgotten Garden" for a glimpse into where I holiday every year, it's set in Cornwall, mostly.
