The Process
I began with a solid paper from AP Downtown and created a new layer above it. Using the eye dropper tool, I sampled a color from the paper and painted over the grunge areas to smooth out the paper. The photo was clipped to a fotoblendz mask. I changed the blending mode of the the mask to color burn to allow the color of the paper to show through. Next I selected Artsy Transfers Downtown_2, turned off some layers and moved overs around, made a composite image and layered it behind the the photo. For the title combined words and letters from Dad WordArt 1 and added the word art from Grads WordArt 1. Brushes from ArchiTextures 2 and New York 1 were set to color burn and duplicated.
