The Work of Childhood

Found an old slide of my son sitting on a compactor and remembered that we still have all of his Tonka trucks packed up and stored in the basement.

An artsy paper from APP Lifes Little was used as the foundation of the page. The photo was clipped to the frame mask of the Curled Paper Frames. The image of the Tonka toy was extracted and a custom shadow was added. Brushes and splatters were added. The page was completed by adding word art, journaling and dimensional embellishments.

Love your photo combined with the rusty Tonka toy tractor, and your interesting age-old question.

It's such an interesting question - I think Oz will grow up loving flowers and colors as well as trucks, so I think it's nurture :) Such a great photo, love the use of the truck brush!

Had to be sure to get the next generation ready to handle those family days at the races. Love the colors, especially for a photo from 1971.
