Journaling: My mother, Marjorie Cales, was particularly fond of this baby sister, Leta Grey. Mom was heartbroken when Leta Grey became ill and subsequently died. She was not yet three years old. The illness was possibly pneumonia. It was February 1929 when she died. My mom was only 10 years old, and very young to experience such a hard event in her life.
