Believe it or not, this is outside Portland, not Amsterdam. I've been working very hard to catch up on my scrapping and have finally reached May.

I loved this place, the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm, and took too many pictures, many more than included here. The colors showed so true on a gray day, and being a gray day might have kept the crowds away. They did much more than grow tulips at this farm, but as the tour guide said, people wont come out here to watch grass grow. We learned that the trees in nearby orchards are hazelnuts. Cracked hazelnut shells were used a mulch and to line the somewhat muddy paths on the farm. I look forward to returning year after year. May 5, 2017
