Journaling reads: Ron was a member of a water ski club that would often takes trips out to the Colorado River. After he and I married, we took a few trips out the Picacho with the club. Ron is an expert water-skier, while I just like the desert. After Rachel was born we seldom took the time to go out as it was so much more difficult to do desert camping with an infant. One year, Rons snow skiing friend Charlie asked if we would like to go out to Fishers Landing to water ski. Rachel was 6 and a half so it was fun for Rachel to see her dad ski, and to experience the heat and the speed boat. It is so nice to go on these trips and not have to think about anything other than breathing. It is so relaxing.
