The night before my dear friend Mary had ligament surgery in both an arm and leg, she came to spend at least 10 days with me in Norman. Both our husbands were away on disaster duty and there was no one to care for her. Since the surgery was in Oklahoma City and we were about 15 minutes away in Norman, it just made sense. We sat out on our back patio with her little Yorkie all night and watched the Perseids meteor shower. It started slow but soon the meteors shot by so fast and in such numbers we couldn’t even count them. It was simply amazing! As is the gift of Mary’s friendship.
This is a very straight forward LO. I started with one of the papers, added a couple of overlays and some paint then elements. I placed a starburst around the constellation Perseus on the star chart and added the arrow for emphasis
