Photo: Mine
Font: Adelaide

Notes: After extracting a couple of the petunias from the photo, I brought the photo and extractions into a new 12x12 document and used artsy paper 5 as the foundation. Using a Hue/Saturation Adjustment layer, I selectively changed the color of part of the paper to match the flowers.

I built up the photo starting with clipping a copy to the fotoblendz and blending the mask to Color Burn. On top I added a transfer from APP Artsy clipping another copy of the photo and used the Underpainting filter on the photo. I left the transfer and photo on Normal, then duplicated the photo two more times, blending to Vivid Light and Screen respectively. Adding a drop shadow to the extracted flowers, I put the shadow on its own layer and transformed it a bit with the Warp Tool. I put the photo layers into a group.

Over and under the photo group I used splatters and stains and art strokes using colors from the palette and photo, then added the flower transfer from APP Summer Breeze.

Bringing in the paint brush and giving it a drop shadow, I again separated the shadow to its own layer and moved it to look like the brush is lifted off the page. I dirtied up the brush clipping stains to it. I added the second brush and dirtied it up the same way. Word art transfers were added to the edges of the page. I brought in the hearts and also with a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer, changed the color to match the flowers. And there you have it, a finished page.
Off to see it. https://www.annaaspnesdesigns.com/crystallize-filter-background-tutorial/
