The Process: I started this layout knowing I wanted to use a black background, a Chatter Transfer and the MultiMedia Daisy. I had no idea what photo I was going to use or where the layout would take me, I just knew I wanted that combination. I also knew I wanted a quote, but again no idea what quote. I was sort of working blind.

I opened the paper, a transfer and placed it in the upper right corner and the daisy, turning off the visibility until I knew where I wanted to put it.

At this point I looked for a photo that would compliment the transfer and chose one my daughter sent me and I opened a FotoBlendz Overlay, placing it at the top of the page, clipping the photo to it. I duplicated the photo three more times using a different blending mode for each layer and the posterize filter, all at different opacities. I wanted it vibrant.

Afterwards, I made the daisy visible and put it under the pink flower at the left side.

Then I duplicated the background paper and placed it over the flowers with a Color Dodge blend mode so the scratchy edge showed at the top of the page. I got the butterfly from APP Scientist, duplicating it and making it white, placing it under the black butterfly, and moved it a little and blended it with Hard Light at 100%.

Found a quote on my Pinterest board and brushed it with yellow and pink. Under that I put another daisy and blended it with Linear Light at 100% opacity. Added a black splatter from Different Strokes 11 above the daisy Added stains under the quote and colored them from the transfer. And there you have it.
Beautiful, I love the bright colors with the dark background, great blending, I love the quote, it's so true!

I am in love with your quote -- I had never heard it before and it rather caught me off guard ... I believe it to be so true. and your LO is equally beautiful. Two joys in one! A very good way to start my day! Thanks!
