My daughter captured this photo of my grandson's last day of school. Wonder is he's thinking YAY school's over, or what's going to happen next? Or he could just be sleeping while standing up!
Process
A pattern paper from APP Chatter was used for the foundation of the page. The photo was clipped to a Paper FotoBlendz mask, duplicated with the blending mode changed to soft light (reduced opacity). The cut paper and date were created using the technique used in Anna's CUT, BLEND AND ALIGN DIGITAL SCRAPBOOK LAYOUT DESIGN. The page was completed by adding, word art, dimensional embellishments, transfers, splatters and stars.
Love the thoughts and sentiment. Love the big numbers treatments, and the shadows. Now I've finally now how to do the warping, I just need more time to play.
Had to laugh about the upright sleeping! Been there! No matter what he’s doing, I love the photo and how you bisected it with the journaling. Another gorgeous design!
this page touches me particularly for personal reasons.
in june, my son will also have his very last day of school before he has to go into military service and will then go to an university.
i love the photo, the journeling and the bright yellow as well as the original title work.
I love your humour about the sleeping standing up! What a milestone though, last day of school and his future in front of him - he will succeed whatever comes his way - he comes from such a special family! Fabulous page!
