Journaling:
This hike was one of the highlights of the trip, although there were many. We parked below the churchyard, bought some provisions at the bakery and market, then headed up the hill for the hike between the two towns, 8km apart. It wasnt a hard hike, but had some up and down, and after the waterfall hike and standing for an hour enjoying the clock museum, it was about 2km too long. But it was beautiful! Gently scenic, so green, with rolling hills, patches of Black Forest, bucolic cows, pretty clouds. At times the trail was rerouted around the paths of cows and fields being cut. It was a good day for a hike, sunny, not too warm.
