Autumn is a favourite season of mine. The beautiful colours as the leaves turn are just wonderful.

I stated with my usual 12 x 12 white page. I selected a solid paper from the APP Autumn Rust and placed this as my background paper.

I then selected one of the transfers from the palette and placed it at the top of the piece in the centre and extended it slightly.

I wanted to blend my selected image into the transfer so I selected a FotoBlenz from WaterColor FotoBlenz 8 set and placed it so it fit over the white part of the transfer.

I then placed my photo in a layer above it. I then clipped it to the image by selecting the options layer create clipping mask.

Once I had this in place, I manoeuvred the image around till it blended how I wanted it to appear.

I then selected some ArtStrokes from the palette to frame around the piece. I also chose a Taped texture from AASPN Taped Textures 4 and placed them around the bottom of the coloured stain.

Finally, I added some wording from AutumWordART7 to complete the piece.
