I extracted the photograph of Rob using the pen tool and layered it on masked paper from AP Chills. That didn't give me the vibrancy I was looking for so layered a couple of cool glows on top changing sizes to create variation. This was then flattened and masked with a brush from the AP and then the frame positioned on top. I played about with the positioning of the calendar and the word strips till I was happy with the composition.

Beige solid paper from AP Storm was clipped to a brush from Storm and positioned behind the photograph then brushes from both Storm and Chill APs layered on top. I often just invert brushes and make them white which is what I've done here with one of the storm brushes. The other brush is clipped to one of the art papers from AP Chills. The picture of Rob standing was clipped to another brush and the layer set to Hard Light. Finally I included some patterned paper, selected Darken in the layers palette and reduced the opacity to 48%.
