I just moved to the States and got married. I was pretty lonely and maybe even a little scared.
I got involved with the Golden Retriever Rescue groups and I was desperate to have a dog, I needed a companion. I dont even remember anymore how I got in love with this race as I always had German Shepherds, but I was looking for an easier dog to handle, and that was it, fell in love with the goofy face and smile of the Goldens. I read a lot about them and we even moved to another house were we were permitted to have a dog, and it was not easy to find!But we were denied to adopt because the house was not fenced. I wanted an old dog, I adore all the white faces, but in my desperation, after I was denied, I went and buy a golden puppy. You were so cute and I loved you from the first moment, but it was a mistake, my husband panicked and I knew I will not be able to give you the home you deserve.
I knew that I need to take the decision and fast, as nobody cant resist the puppys charm. A young couple became your family in just a couple of days. It was so hard to let you go and I cried my eyes out, but I know I did the right decision at the end. I am sorry baby dog, I will always remember and love you! .
