*TaylorMade Chall* - Here's the Story

I used Vicki's great suggestion for home made sepia-rising using the colour blend mode (and a yummy rich brown colour).

Journalling reads:
Heres the story, of a little family, who wanted to have a nice day out. So they got into the car and drove from their new home in London to Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire, to sample the delights of the countryside. After a boring but uneventful journey of a mere 40 mins (although you would have thought it was hours & hours long, given the moaning), they arrived. Well, imagine their horror when they stepped out of the car and realised that the entire world around them had shrunk! Everything was miniature (and made of plaster, but lets gloss over that bit for now). And the children felt like giants in a Lilliputian land. They understood how Gulliver must have felt (of course, being only 7,5 & 3 years old they havent actually read Gullivers Travels, but lets let that one go too). They took great delight in marveling at the cuteness of everything and running like crazy things around the entire town. And, as befits his nature, Paddy took great pleasure in knocking over one of the numerous steam trains that plied their wares around the town (course, he got in a bit of trouble for this, both from his mother and the station master - who, bizarrely, was a giant also). The children were amazed to see that in this town there were all the usual shops, like Marks & Spencers (the smallest in England - ho, ho, ho!), there was a playground and a fun fair and two castles. Imagine that! After a few hours ohhing and arhhing at all the miniature things the little family decided it was time to go home (well it was beginning to rain) so they headed back to where they had left the car. And as they did so everything around them started to grow bigger and return to normal size again. And it was then they discovered the truth of their strange experience. They hadnt walked into a warp zone which took them to a different world, theyd merely been to Bekonscot Model Village, which had clearly been a blast and kept everyone entertained - especially Woody given the number of trains there were. So, another successful day out for this little family. End of story.
