I used the transfers pretty much as they came. Added a dark grey background and a light tan over that changing the opacity to be just a tad darker that the transfer. I found one of my own photo masks and tucked it under the transfer then popped the photo in. Once I was happy with that, I merged all layers and added 2 photoslides on top changing the opacity of each and adding a vellum shadow giving the page a little more interest.
