Had no idea there was a blue wren—what a beauty! Beautiful layout too, with the curve of the blue flower bending inward.
 
What a beauty! The best use of lace I’ve ever seen. (Not a lace fan, but this is perfect.)

We have pairs visiting here regularly but in my old garden they nested in a plumbago that was used as support for a rosy red rambling rose. The one in the photo is the male. The female is a a brown plain Jane that hardly ever gets attention. I shall have to remedy it and think of a way to show her off.
