Summer Solstice, Sitka 1993

This day blooms
under wide meadows
of sky. We lay
our sun-stunned bodies
in constellations
of clover and buttercups.

Salmonberry bubbles
of sweet red light
break on our tongues.
Shooting stars
in the flowerbeds,
pollen in our sheets.

For ***new annalift*** (7.12.13 - 7.18.13) @ Oscraps. The poem is mine; everything else is from Anna Aspnes.

For detailed credits see at flickr.
How: This was done with PSE11. I began by blending two papers and one border overlay together (all "overlay") & then added elements, playing with different layer styles until I liked what I had. Nothing exotic or mysterious, really.
