Process:
This page is about my son's new found "summer smile." Due to camera shyness he used to have a lot of tension in his smile, but this summer I've been capturing some of the most beautiful photos of him and his more natural and relaxed smile.
To make this page I resized and altered the artsy template to fit an 8.5 x 11 canvas. Then I chose three similar photos and clipped them to the photo masks, to create the look of a "photo carousel." I chose similar photos so that none of the important details would be lost in the overlapping photos. Next I dragged in this awesome background, and added the fence down at the bottom (using duplicated versions of the smaller piece, merging them and adding a drop shadow to the whole piece) and the sun tucked under the photos to complete the happy little scene. Finally I created a visual triangle of red elements to tie in my son's bright red shirt.
