Journaling reads: Such a silly thing, to take a photograph beside this peanut. It isnt so much that Dothan, Alabama is the peanut capital of the world, as it is the importance of a photo of my mom with Rachel. Many times it is the little things that are overlooked at that moment, but I know that each time we wear something bought on that day of having lunch, and shopping with my mom, we will think of the special times were spent with Grandma and Papa, and not at all of the Peanut.
The Process: I started with one of the background papers from Annas new ArtPlay Palette Savor so I really didnt have to add much else to it. I placed the photo in a frame, added the elements from the same kit, along with word art. Because I cant get over just how silly this peanut is, I wanted the title to be playful, which was why I chose the notebook alpha from anna, as well as the fonts for the journaling and the smaller words in the title. In browsing through my stash, I came across the chevron paper (retired), and decided to blend it into the background paper as well, and then added the StainedGlows. When completed, I played around with RadLab, and applied a few filters.
