St Paul's Cathedral London

My Dad says that being a Londoner has nothing to do with where you're born. He says that there are people who get off a jumbo jet at Heathrow, go through immigration waving any kind of passport, hop on the tube and by the time the train's pulled into Piccadilly Circus they've become a Londoner.

Process
I imported a black and white image into Lightroom. I duplicated it twice. On the bottom layer I created a sketch with a darken blending mode, the next layer was the black and white photo with an inverted mask and finally the top layer was adjusted with a black and white photo filter layer where I used the slider to create a blue effect, to this I added a colour burn blending mode and again using an inverted mask I brushed back in various parts of the image.
I created a brush from my sketch of St Pauls Cathedral and positioned it behind my main image and the stamped a brush from the Travel England set over the top of it. I also stamped a smaller image on the left hand side of my canvas with titling and a quote ( as this is going to be in my layouts for 2017 book the quote is in a fairly small sized font so as not to overwhelm the page).
love the duplicated photo and the photo treatment, the monochrome with accents of grey blue. great quote and tribute for london too.
