Winter Storm Warning for Larimer County.

People have been talking for days about this big storm coming because of all the broken trees last month. One year we had the roof of a whole shopping center collapse, so we take these storms seriously. It messes up the tulips which just bloomed two days ago. After the storm I'll write something.

Love the page...more art journal than scrapbook, I think. We usually get a big storm as soon as the tulip trees peek! So the flowers last about 2 days. Hope your storm passes by without damage.

The weather forecast with a background of gorgeous tulips...super creative! Going to remember that one! The big snowflakes are like the cherry on top! Our tulips suffered some damage this Spring...that's why my last post includeed a photo of last year's blooms!

Ah...love the upright structure of the tulips (we lost all of ours to a stretch of snow and ice). Love the superimposition of the snowflakes.

Fabulous design. Reminds me of that quote: gather ye rosebuds as ye may. Or snap tulips before the snow. (Even tho that was not its meaning.)
