Each year, I look forward to spring.
I anticipate the warmth and the new
growth. The colors slowly change from
white and grey, to brown and then to
green before exploding in a rainbow
of new blossoms. Our apple tree
is among the first of the blooms in our
yard, with the tulips and hyacinths. As
my yard wakes up, we prepare to plant
the vegetables and annual herbs, the
birds and the bees return and fill the
yard with activity. Each day offers
new things to find as the garden is
always changing. Spring is such an
interesting season.
