One of my favourite series of the past few years was definitely Spartacus, the real story of a rebel slave who fought the Romans with his army of gladiators, around 71-73 before Christ. Two weeks ago I saw the last episode and I felt really sad after seeing how it ended, but it is a true story (should have read Wikipedia first to know how it ended )

I'm using a picture here of Andy Whitfield, who was Spartacus in the first season (Blood & Sand). Unfortunately he passed away (he had cancer) and was replaced by Liam McIntyre. Liam did a really good job, but I still think Andy had something special...
