My DD and a mother's sentiments.

Journal says:
You will be holding a pencil
or some crayons
and maybe you will be giving your teacher an apple
and then I might be waiting for you to arrive riding the school bus. You will then demand for me to get you the latest backpack along with all the new and latest school things you will put inside it. And then I will have to prepare for your snack each day of everyday. I will be doing all these things without apprehension and without questions because I know that it is my responsibility to take care of you and provide for you. It is your right to be loved and be taken care of. For as long as you learn your ABCs and 123s , I will support you 101% all the way. For you are my child, and a beautiful one at that.
