Journaling: Our older son has never married. Our younger son married, but had always been adamant that he did not want children because I dont want anyone putting me through what I put you through. Fortunately for us, he changed his mind; he and his wife have given us two wonderful granddaughters. I had worked with children for many years; I love watching them grow, learn, and develop into their own unique selves. It is a special joy to see our Grand Girls developing into unique individuals. I was thrilled when our son and daughter-in-law gave their younger daughter my name as her middle name, just as my middle name is that of my mother and grandmother.
