Lilian Bond: Lilian (also credited as Lillian) Bond was born in London in 1908. After winning a beauty contest in England in 1926, she headed for Hollywood and began her acting career in 1929. Her fourth picture however, was the film that really launched her film career. While not the female lead, probably her best known performance was in Gary Cooper's The Westerner (1940). Lilian played legendary stage actress Lillie Langtry. By the 1950s her career had slowed, with her having mostly television series appearances. She retired from acting at the age of 50 in 1958.Lilian died on January 25th 1991, in California.
