slow down

Playing with Annas awesome ARTsale/Deals of Summer kits and a sweet photo I took downtown Springfield, MO while spending the day wandering shops and taking photos. Enjoyed the morning at the Farmers market and then capturing simple beauty thru the lens that Im often too busy to notice.but on this day I took the time to notice.

Page process-
A sketch app was applied to the photo and then transfers and blending modes were applied to create this cool effect.

Transfers and brushes were layered up with multiple layers of clipping. Paperies and transfers were clipped to brushes and WordART and blending modes were applied across the page design.

UrbanStitchez were added. Try moving your UrbanStitchez up and down the layers palette to see what happens. Sometimes layers above hide some of the UrbanStitchez and the effect of only parts or pieces of the UrbanStitchez showing adds some fun visual interest to the ART.

Im not great at using elements, but liked the effect of adding blending modes to the elements so that rather than stand out on the ART design the blended elements melt right into the design and add another layer of texture and beauty. The buttons lined up (can you spot them?) have the darker color color burn and luminosity blending modes applied to them.

This page was fun to create and simply play and try new ideas.
thanks for looking..donna.
Fab page! Delightful photo and colors, and awesome blending. I would love to be shopping on that street.

yep. A bike like that would force me to slow down...I'd be in the hospital! Love your photo/treatment and beautiful use of papers/elements.

Love the color and photo treatment! There's so much beauty in everyday things ... we just need to stop and look!
