Singapore - Thian Hock Keng Temple

I was elated when I saw the MultiMedia Oriental No. 1 kit in the store! Perfect for our trip to Southeast Asia in Feb of 2024.

This is the Thian Hock Keng Temple in Chinatown, Singapore. One of the most beautiful temples there. It is a fascinating juxtaposition of old vs. modern with the city in the background.

We were lucky to arrive in Singapore on the 2nd day of Chinese New Year, the Year of the Dragon.

The photos are impressive and interesting. Tradition and modernity fit together wonderfully here. I particularly like the use of the template. I'm also always happy to be able to read details about the pictures as a repeat in the description. Often, journaling is simply written too small due to space constraints. Only a magnifying glass helps in this case *lol*

i love the old and new of singapore as well (and other parts of asia from what i've seen as well) and you captured the architecture beautifully!

I am a huge fan of contextual elements and these are perfect here - I understand the elation (I am looking forward to using these for my grandson's Dragon Parade next week)! You've done such a wonderful job I can hardly tell where the photo ends and the elements begin. A wonderful page!
