Journaling:
somehow, my life seems to get crazier and more hectic by the
day. I run from class, to class, to work, back to class and back
to work, and before I know it, another ady is passed. the
feeling of stress builds and builds until I feel as if I may
just go crazy. Its those times that I remind myself to stop.
Breath. Enjoy the moment. I know that I will never be able
to get these days back, these days of college and friends and
newly-wed-ness. So I stop and seek the joy in my life.

Its funny. The things that bring me the most joy are often
the most simple, everyday parts of life. Vacations are great,
special moments are wonderful, but if you make an effort to
find joy in the simple parts of a regular day, you will find
you are surrounded by joy all the time.

*listening to the bells ring from Raley
chapel on the hour. The hymns that
defined my childhood surround me no
matter where I am on campus, even
fluttering in the open windows of our
apartment.
*Blooming flowers all over campus. Spring
has come in a great fanfare, loudly
announcing its arrival with bird songs
and bloom after beautiful bloom.
*Kitten toes. Whenever I sit on the
couch with my laptop and the fuzzy
polarbear blanket, Lola curls up beside
me and shares her snuggles.
*Bare feet on green grass. Another
result of spring is the beautiful
weather and retreat of the dead,
gray grass outside, replaced instead
with a lush green carpet.
*A nice chilled glass of white zinfandel,
preferably accompanied by the
laughter of my sweet friends.
Thursday nights with Maren, Rachel,
and Andrea are the highlight of my
weeks. Those girls bring me great joy.
YOU
have inspired me with this layout!

When I created the wordart this is the kind of layout I envisioned...
yet never had the time to create!
After reading your journaling
I'm inspired to revisit this wordart
and create my own layout!
I also loved how you blended the wordart into the background!
