Process:
My goal was to finish this page in fewer than two hours because this album is d r a g g i n g. I was able to do so by not fussing with the template at all and focusing on my journaling, background, and embellishments instead. I didn't even recolor the stains. I blended the background from three papers on multiply, pulled in a transfer from the Time artsy transfer set, duplicated the clock part and threw it up in the corner, then sized up a nautical brad and put it over the clock. Lastly I added a piece of tape and darkened the edges with the burn tool to make it look less flat, and put on the page overlay. Two hours and ten minutes, not bad. PS: [After a cup of coffee I decided to add an orange fill layer to the nautical brads to complement the lifering in the center photo, so that took a little more time.]
Only two hours, and all that journaling! It looks like you had a marvelous trip, and now you have a beautiful album to remember it all!

Cool that this came together fast for you. Your album is going to be awesome. Great photos and I love how your colors are consistent throughout.

While I know it must have been an awesome journey.. those deep blue waters couldn't look colder... Those are some awesome captures!!

hee hee I really enjoyed the story, it's brutally honest :) Yes the pictures are awesome, love your title and how you fit in so much journaling, but if I ever go, I will be sure to avoid the 6-hour cruises :)

Your honest journaling made me laugh. How stinkin' funny! I love honest journaling, it makes the page even more awesome. You got some gorgeous shots out of that 6 hour cruise. I think you subconsciously thought the cruise should have only lasted 2 hours and that's why you made short work of it. It's an awesome page in oh so many ways!

your sleepy adventure is wonderfully documented. love the balance in your design. and those photos are too sigh over.

really enjoying these bold, mixed font titles on your pages...........they fit in so many ways. beautiful photos.
