Ozzy’s first toddler trip to the beach. Once piles of things were set down, he marched off toward the water with purpose. Water in his shoes must have startled him a bit. He returned and set about sand play. I had found and brought an old beach pail, some plastic utensils, and we gathered sticks and rocks. Cher wanted to be a part of it all, after all, the beach is her territory. She dug holes, stole the sticks and knocked down the sand castles.
