Journaling reads: When I first moved to San Diego, as soon as I could afford to, I bought a season pass to the Zoo. This way, I could go just for an hour if I wanted. When walking into the front gate, the first thing you see are a large flock of gorgeous flamingos, and I would find myself mesmerized by their beauty. I loved watching them preen themselves and loved their occasional honk. I think it because of the beauty of these birds that flamingo pink has always been a favorite color of mine as well.
