Process:
Left: I processed my iPhone photo with the app Waterlogue and clipped it to the mask. Next I extracted the eggs, reduced the opacity and placed that above the photo so that the eggs stood out a bit more. I then used several layers from artsy transfers 5 and 2 to create the background, recoloring and adjusting as necessary. I added the watercolor flowers and recolored with lightleaks. I used a similar process to color the little bird from MMBirds No. 1.
Right: I adjusted the frames from ALT 132 to fit my photos and placed layers from three of the psd transfers below the frames to build a foundation to coordinate with my photos.
The blue of the robin's eggs is SO intense. Such a miraculous color. So hard for little ones to grasp concepts like "fragile"--it really is a learn-by-doing thing. Corbin is going to enjoy seeing his young self one of these days! As usual, an awesome spread, with perfect detailing.
Love the gentle pastel colors behind the photos. Great pages for the future. I hope my kids will have many happy memories looking back over the pages I create for them. I am guessing it is the same for you.
Excellent LO. Kids love to see their younger selves. Sometimes I even use photos of our granddaughter and her mother when she was our granddaughter's age. It is kind of magical how much they look alike at the same age.
Great pages, the colors are beautiful, the color of the eggs is gorgeous, never seen such a beauty's, all is perfect, the photo's are beautiful and sweet!
